Do you guys remember the Valentine’s Day inspired Lush Haul that I posted just before Valentine’s? Well I’ve exercised inhuman self restraint, and actually haven’t been into Lush since then. I know, that’s insane, what the heck?
Well recently I decided that it had been too long since I’d been into Lush and shared with you guys what I’d bought, so that’s what I’m doing today!
I didn’t pick up very much because I do have a lot of bath products around at the moment, so I didn’t want to go overboard.Ceridwens Cauldron Bath Melt | After briefly talking to the assistant in Lush, we’d established that I like baths to be relaxing and moisturising, and I wanted to try out some products that had been newly introduced since my last visit. The assistant recommended this bath melt to me because it consists mainly of oats and cocoa butter, it’s perfect for sensitive skin. This bath melt is also reusable because it’s in a cloth bag, so you can just bob it around the top of your bath, lightly infusing it with the oats and cocoa butter, and use it directly onto your skin to lightly exfoliate and moisturise, all in one go!
Twilight Bath Bomb | Even the name of this bath bomb inspires the idea of relaxation and sleep. And that’s the entire purpose of this product. The fragrance itself is another element that has been designed to help you sleep, as lavender is a soothing and relaxing fragrance, used in aromatherapy to treat insomnia and aid restful sleep. I decided to pick this one up because, although it’s not new, I haven’t used it before, so I thought I’d try it out! I’m a big fan of a lavender scent, because I do find it to be insanely relaxing, and a perfect scent for just before bed.Sakura Bath Bomb | It’s not secret that I love Japan and cherry blossoms, to this bat bomb was another no brainer for me to pick up. At first I thought that this bath bomb was just really pretty, but then when I smelt it, I realised that the scent was unusually uplifting and strong. Lush describes it as “Calming mimosa and jasmine oils are complemented by lemon oil and orange flower to bring to mind the smell of this colourful season.” and I think that perfectly embodies how this bath bomb smells, it’s incredibly fresh and uplifting, perfect for a bath first thing in the morning.
Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb | This is another bath bomb that I hadn’t tried before, but had been tempted by. The sales assistant told me that this bath bomb is perfect for detoxing and after working out, hence the name. And as this bath bomb is so usually overlooked, I’m going to share a little secret with you. It isn’t just an orange bath bomb. Once it begins fizzing, it actually turns your bath into an array of orange, turquoise and purple shades, so give it a go!
That’s everything I picked up in Lush, I know, you can applaud at how much self restraint I showed, ha! I hope you enjoyed this post and I convinced you to try out some products that you’ve overlooked or have been meaning to try for a long time.
