Ariana Grande MAC Viva Glam

Hey guys! With the UK release of Ariana Grande’s Viva Glam for MAC I thought I would check out the colours and see if I was interested. When I saw the colours, I knew that I had to buy both the lipstick and the lipglass, because they are both so perfect for almost any skintone. I was also really happy to see that all proceeds from both the lipstick and the lipglass goes straight to MAC’s AIDS fund.IMG_0915output_FTtj6JMy favourite is by far the lipstick, it’s got a really lovely formula, which means that it glides on really easily, and it smells delicious! The lipstick is matte, but not drying at all, and it doesn’t crack, like a lot of matte lipsticks tend to do after a little while. I did find that because of the intensity of this colour, it can be quite messy when you’re applying it, so I would recommend using a similar coloured lip-liner before applying it, as that can make it a lot easier to apply, and ensures that it lasts all day.IMG_0923IMG_1220The lipglass is a really beautiful colour, and much more wearable for an everyday look, and I would wear this everyday, if it weren’t for the formula. The formula of these lipglosses is really sticky, and if you’ve got hair long enough to get stuck in it, it will get stuck in it. It’s nicely pigmented, so it leaves you with a really pretty light and natural pink that’s actually quite sparkly.

These colours can also be worn together, with the lipglass ontop of the lipstick. The sparkles in the lipglass sits really nicely ontop of the depth and darkness of the lipstick, but again, because of the intensity of the lipstick, it’s not for everyone, it suits everyone, but not everyone would want to wear it.

I really love both of these products, but I’m much more likely to wear the lipstick, simply because the lipgloss is a bit too sticky for me to wear for an extended amount of time.

I love the colours of both, and I’m also really glad that all of the money spent on these products goes to a great cause, let me know if you’re planning on picking up either of these products!
